Arctic-Lock®
The Arctic-Lock® Coupler is designed to withstand colder temperatures than the Clear-Lock Coupler. Arctic-Locks are designed with increased impact strength that greatly reduces the risk of cracking or shattering under installation force. The Arctic-Lock Coupler can withstand at least 35% higher impact than standard Clear-Lock Couplers (or 4.7 Jauls impact at -18C). The non-metallic construction provides excellent corrosion resistance in buried or encased applications and also has desirable dielectric properties.
