MicroDuct is bundled into an easy-to-handle unit known as FuturePath. FuturePath can be installed just like standard duct: open trench, aerial, directional drilled, plowed, or pulled into an existing conduit. When branching individual MicroDucts, there is no need for a special branching box. No special tools or equipment are required for installation.

We offer an extensive portfolio of US-made conduit products and accessories that conform with several domestic preference standards, including Buy America (BAA), Build America, Buy America (BABA), and DOT Buy American requirements. Any products including a locate wire or preinstalled cables, will need to be specifically evaluated. Fire Retardant Resins may also require additional evaluation to meet program guidelines. eABF cables are designed by AFL to offer the most rugged and reliable enterprise-based blown fiber solution in the market today. The cable design combines a light-weight, low-drag jacketing system that allows the cable to be blown long distances. The cable series also features additional attributes that set this product above and beyond traditional blown fiber cables. These enhanced features include mechanical strengthening that permits the cable to comply with industry-standard premise interconnect specifications. In addition, the eABF cable series feature flame-resistance characteristics which result in stand-alone riser and plenum rated options suitable for routing outside of the micro-duct system. Because of these mechanical, environmental and optical qualifications, eABF cables can also be installed in third-party, flame-rated duct and pathway systems.

The MicroDuct Distribution Box (MDB) is a convenient indoor junction box where multiple MicroDucts can be joined together. The box is used in conjunction with FuturePath Enclosure Connectors. The hinge door gives users easy access while providing protection from dirt, dust, and water.

HydraLube® AT-500 is a high-performance silicone lubricant formulated specifically for use with compressed air-assisted cable blowing, jetting and pushing systems. These systems inject a high volume of air into the conduit which will rapidly dry out conventional cable placement lubricants (including silicone-based) and cause surface stickiness. Furthermore, the initial temperature of the compressed air can be very high, which will accelerate drying of the lubricant. HydraLube® AT-500 deposits a special low-friction silicone coating on the conduit wall surface that is resistant to the drying effects of the rapid air movement and high heat. This product is fully compatible with cable jackets and HDPE or PVC conduit systems.
