Arctic-Lock

The Arctic-Lock™ Coupler is designed to withstand colder temperatures than the Clear-Lock Coupler. Arctic-Locks are designed with increased impact strength that greatly reduces the risk of cracking or shattering under installation force. The Arctic-Lock Coupler can withstand at least 35% higher impact than standard Clear-Lock Couplers (or 4.7 Jauls impact at -18C). The non-metallic construction provides excellent corrosion resistance in buried or encased applications and also has desirable dielectric properties.

Can also be used to couple dissimilar conduits such as HDPE to PVC, threaded or non-threaded metal conduit, or fiberglass (FRP) conduit. The coupler features stainless steel band clamps (hand tightened using a 5/16" nut driver) and locking ring. A pre-lubricated O-ring forms an air-tight seal to withstand 125 PSI on 1" - 3" sizes.
